Clan 72 was inspired by Sun Wukong’s legendary 72 transformations — the ability to shift, adapt, and become something entirely different with intention and ease.
We saw press-ons the same way.
Not as temporary beauty accessories, but as wearable transformations. A quiet extension of mood, memory, identity, and environment. One day restrained and polished, another sculptural and expressive. Fluidity becomes part of the ritual.
At its core, Clan 72 was built by enthusiasts.
As people who deeply admire nail artistry, we often found ourselves caught between appreciation and practicality. Some designs felt too intricate to wear daily, while others disappeared too quickly despite the amount of craftsmanship behind them. Press-ons became our solution.
They allowed us to preserve an artist’s work almost like collectible wearable art — pieces that could be revisited, restyled, and appreciated beyond a single salon appointment.
But self-expression should not feel exclusive to dramatic moments alone.
Alongside sculptural and artistic sets, we also believe in effortless day-to-day styles — nails that quietly integrate into everyday life while still carrying intention, detail, and identity.
We want Clan 72 to be a space where different aesthetics can coexist freely: polished minimalism, playful maximalism, editorial restraint, soft femininity, or experimental textures.
Not trends people are forced into.
But styles people are allowed to grow into.
The number 72 remains at the center of everything we do —
a reminder that transformation does not need to be dramatic to be powerful.
Sometimes, it’s as simple as changing your nails before stepping into another version of yourself. And with all that said,
